Senior Civil Engineer

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a temporary role for until 2031.

• PO5 pay scale
• Deagon location

Duties include:

• Undertake operational aspects of project delivery, ensuring the effective and efficient use of funding, systems and process.
• Apply and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements throughout design and construction activities.
• Assist with the management of design and construction activities, including monitoring contractor performance, to ensure established procedures are implemented and delivery requirements are met.
• Assist with ensuring safety, quality and environmental requirements are identified, managed and embedded across all stages of project delivery.
• Undertake client-side activities and project management tasks.
• Assist in resolving engineering issues in accordance with approved standards and project requirements.
• Support effective team performance to meet agreed project objectives and delivery timeframes.
• Manage allocated stakeholder and interface relationships, including tracking, escalating and addressing high-risk and sensitive matters through established governance and reporting mechanisms.
• Actively contribute to procurement planning and documentation, tender evaluation processes, contract establishment and administration, reporting and quality management activities ensuring alignment with project management frameworks, contract requirements and governance arrangements.

Requirements

• A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Current holder of Class C driver’s licence.

Desirable

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in civil infrastructure design and delivery of major road projects.
