Civil Engineer

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a temporary role for until 2031.

  • PO3 pay scale
  • Deagon location

Duties include:

  • Support delivery of projects by undertaking allocated engineering and client-side delivery tasks under the direction of senior project team members.
  • Assist with design and construction activities to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with requirements, standards, specifications and established project controls.
  • Support operational aspects of project delivery by completing assigned tasks in line with approved systems, processes and procedures.
  • Assist with client-side activities and project management tasks.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements during design and construction activities.
  • Design and construction coordination and support activities, including assisting with design reviews, monitoring works and supporting contractor and consultant coordination, escalating issues as required.
  • Assist with safety, quality and environmental activities through participation in inspections, compliance checks and preparation of project documentation and reports.
  • Contribute to effective team functioning through collaboration and timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Assist with stakeholder and interface coordination by supporting communication, information tracking and issue management in accordance with established governance and reporting arrangements.
  • Contribute to procurement and contract activities by assisting with procurement documentation, tender evaluation processes and contract administration tasks.
  • Support governance, reporting and quality management activities to ensure alignment with project management frameworks and contract requirements, particularly during key stages of design development and early works.
  • Contribute to maintaining baseline delivery capacity across the GMBHU program, supporting safe, timely and standards-aligned project progression during periods of high workload.

Requirements

  • A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Current holder of Class C driver’s licence.

Desirable

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in civil infrastructure design and delivery of major road projects.
